Windmill competency model © is developed by Dr. Yangping Zhou. This model includes a set of personal skills which prepare the students for future challenges. It takes language learning as the foundation, and facilitates three main competencies, namely, emotional intelligence, communication and collaboration as well as learn to learn. Furthermore, feedback to school and parents will take place regularly.
Windmill program is developed to build students to be happier, more resilient, and to become future leaders with global perspective!
It is an OMO (Online Merges Offline) solution for students to apply what they will learn from seminar (based on competency model) to projects (UNESCO sustainable development goals) in classes from two different countries.

What is the Windmill Program
The windmill program is an OMO (Online Merges Offline) solution for students to develop the competencies in the above windmill model. It is about project* experience! With this solution, students can apply what they have learned in the seminar to selected projects.
Various methods are developed and implemented by the moderator Yangping Zhou. This happens with discussions, exercises, reflections, group work and presentations as well as feedback. Also, classes from two countries will be connected to exchange. In this respect, the windmill program is interactive and lively. It contains 4 modules on the right:

Who: students from 8th class
How many: around 20-30 students per class
Where: online and offline blended
How long: one semester, one session (2 X 45min) per week
